As I stayed at home under pandemic coronavirus_19 conditions in the spring of 2020, I, like so many, spent a lot of time walking in my neighborhood with my new pandemic puppy. Though I have lived in the same house for the last 16 years, I only then met my neighbors. Practicing safe social distancing and photographing primarily from the sidewalk, I photographed my neighbors at a distance neither intimate nor particularly distant.
